Events & happenings

Niagara-on-the-Lake hosts a full calendar of activities — from the Niagara Grape & Wine Festival each September to Shaw Festival openings, heritage events at Fort George and seasonal celebrations in the Old Town. Check with the public library and the Friends of Fort George for what's on.

From the archive: the online forum

In 1996–97 the site hosted the Niagara-on-the-Net Forum using "Palace" chat software — a real-time, full-colour meeting place for locals and visitors, served from vaxxine.com. The forum and the software are long gone, but the idea — bringing the town's people together online — lives on in this directory.
